For use in dual-battery systems in vehicles or boats, where the (smart) alternator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The device can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth, can be remotely controlled by a remote on/off switch, and has a running engine detection mechanism.The Orion Tr-Smart charger can be used in 12V or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries. Models up to 400W are available, and an unlimited number of devices can be connected in parallel to increase the output power.Suitable for high temperatures up to 55°C with full rated power up to 40°C.

Adaptive 3-stage charge algorithm: Volumetric - Absorption - FloatFor lead-acid batteries, it is important that during shallow discharge, the absorption time is short to prevent the battery from overcharging. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically increased to ensure that the battery is fully recharged.For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed, with a default of 2 hours.Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be selected.

Remote on/offThe two-pole connector can be connected to a remote switch or relay contact. Alternatively, the H (right) terminal of the bipolar connector can be connected to the battery positive or the L (left) terminal of the bipolar connector can be connected to the battery negative (or, for example, the vehicle chassis).
