MultiPlus-II combines the functions of MultiPlus and MultiGrid.

The MultiPlus-IIcombines the functions of MultiPlus and MultiGrid to provide numerous system integration functions. It has all the functions of MultiPlus, including the inverter and charger, as well as the option of an external current transformer to implement PowerControl and PowerAssist and optimize self-consumption with an external current sensor (max. 32A). Additionally, it has MultiGrid features with built-in islanding protection and an increasingly long list of approvals for use in different countries.

The PowerAssistMultiPlus-IIprevents overloading of a limited AC power source such as a generator or shore power connection. The battery charge is automatically reduced if there is a threat of overload. In the second level, PowerAssist uses the battery energy to increase the power of the generator or shore power when needed.

ESS:The MultiPlus-II energy storage systemis a key component of Victron's ESS system, providing flexibility in combination with MPPT solar chargers or grid-tied PV inverters. The ESS system enables efficient management of energy storage and use. Examples and more information can be found in the ESS manual.

Uninterruptible AC power supply (UPS function)In the event of a power failure, shore power or generator outage, the MultiPlus-II inverter automatically activates and takes over the power supply of the connected loads. This happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption.

Remote monitoring and controlInconjunction with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX), you can monitor and control your MultiPlus-II and system or systems locally (LAN) or remotely via the Internet from anywhere in the world using the free VRM app and the free VRM portal website. Access is possible from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. The level of control is unlimited: from configuring the MultiPlus-II to automatically starting the backup power generator.
