The Danfoss HD250 (formerly UQM HD250) is a powerful permanent magnet AC (PMAC) motor designed for heavy duty, high torque applications. The HD250 M+C+T consists of a motor, controller and transmission. The transmission in this Danfoss/UQM unit is an Eaton 2-speed pneumatic transmission (operated under air pressure). This powerful electric motor can be used in a variety of applications, from school buses to mining equipment and even consumer vehicles. The Danfoss Power Phase HD250 is also available with a transmission or a single-speed gearbox (see Danfoss HD250 M+C).
