TESLA MODEL S & X BATTERY MODULE BMS CELL TAP BOARD (GEN 2)

Board for connecting Tesla Model S and X BMS Cell Tap Board battery modules:

Suitable for Tesla modules with a white wired single plug. Typically used on 2nd generation modules from 85 kWh

Designed to replace standard Tesla BMS boards used in Tesla Model S and Model X battery modules. Suitable for 60, 70, 75 and 85 kWh modules. It is designed to work as a tap that can transmit the voltage of all 6 battery groups of the module and both temperature thermistors to the BMS of your choice. Both temperature sensors are 10k thermistors and are NOT polarity sensitive. Not all applications use both thermistors, but we recommend using at least one of them for temperature monitoring to keep the batteries healthy. Comes with a 12-pin connector and 16 crimp pins. The crimp pins are suitable for 22-18 AWG cell branch wires. We use them with Orion BMS systems. For all inquiries, please send an e-mail to: sales@stealthev.com

Direct replacement of the OEM Tesla BMS board, uses existing connectors from the battery module and OEM plastic rivets.

No special software required, just plug and play!

~NOTE:
Modules with branch wires that are soldered to the BMS boards are not compatible with our boards. We recommend simply using Molex mini-fit Jr. plugs directly to the wires.

~NOT SUITABLE FOR MODEL 3 MODULES~.

For best crimping results, use the Molex Mini-fit Jr. crimper, part number 63819-0901. A good alternative is the Molex 63811-1000 or Astro Pneumatic 9477. Other crimps may also work.
