Soul EV has a battery from SK Innovation.
It has 192 polymer cells made of lithium, nickel, manganese and cobalt oxide (NMC).
Each 40 Ah battery cell has an energy density of 200 Wh/kg.
They are arranged in a series chain of 96 sets of 2 parallel cells.
The nominal battery capacity is 75 Ah.
The 2015 Soul EV has a battery capacity of 30.5 kWh and weighs 202.8 kg ->
Gravitational energy density = 150.4 Wh/kg
The chemical composition of the battery cells in the Kia Soul EV is NCM 622.
