The 3000W 48V 18150Whdia off-grid solar kit is an off-grid system for harnessing excess solar energy. With this set of components, an inverter will inject the photovoltaic energy we have into our single-phase installation in real time. If there is excess production, it will be used to recharge the 48-volt battery, while when there is a shortage of radiation for our consumption, energy will be extracted from the battery to increase our self-consumption and reduce consumption from the grid. It has a longer payback period than a pure batteryless system, although they are very interesting if our hours of highest consumption do not coincide exactly with the hours of highest production. This type of installation does not require any maintenance and its components have a long lifespan, such as the batteries, which can offer us more than 6000 life cycles with a 90% discharge rate. The inverter is also maintenance-free and has an average service life of over 20 years.

One of the advantages of this system is that, thanks to the technology incorporated in its inverter, it has many modes of operation: connected to the grid to maximize the use of solar energy, off-grid, in emergency mode in case of unstable grid operation, etc.

The photovoltaic system proposed in the attached document is capable of generating 10.80 kWh per day in winter (with 3 hours of sunshine), while in summer the production will be 25.20 kWh per day (with 7 hours of sunshine).
