Description and characteristics
The Cyrix Battery Combiner is a microprocessor-based, heavy-duty relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them reaches a preset voltage level (indicating that the battery is charged) and disconnects when the battery voltage drops below the preset level (indicating that one or more batteries are discharging). Cyrix battery combiners are an excellent replacement for diode isolators. The main feature is that there is virtually no voltage drop, so the voltage supplied by the generator or charger does not have to be higher.
